Town Team Movement helps town teams and local governments to create stronger communities and better places. It isn’t easy – it takes some hard work. But you can achieve a lot, just by having a go. Here are some resources to help you start the process.

Remember, the main requirement for a town team is to accept and live by the Town Team Charter, which is the common link between all the teams.

Placemaking is both an ethos and an approach. It focusses on collaboration, communication and connections and mutual responsibilities.
By definition, placemaking can’t be done by individual people or a department of government working in isolation. Everyone should have the opportunity to be involved. It promotes changes to culture and thinking as much as physical outcomes. Both are important.
