COVID-19 has created a very unique moment in time, one that brings with it a lot of uncertainty,
personal and societal challenges, a breakdown of the old ‘normal’, perhaps an illumination of
priorities as well as opportunity to shape the future.
Throughout SHIFT we will explore how we as citizens, as local communities, as organisations, as governments take this opportunity to do things better. How can we work together better? How can we create a better vision for our collectives?
These are some of the questions we will explore throughout the day, covering topics such as
reimagining town centres, the power of citizen led action, fostering collaborative team innovation,
the role of arts and creativity in the recovery.
This digital event is about how we can imagine a brighter future and cooperate together to work
towards that vision.
The program schedule is designed to start with an opening keynote on Innovative Leadership,
then will head into three, concurrent sessions hosted for attendees to select, and finally closing
with a collaborative exercise. The conference is proposed to be four hours from 9:30am-1:30pm
and will include international keynotes, breakout rooms and interactive networking.
Keynote and breakout sessions will be designed to experiment with a variety of mediums
including pre-recorded video content, mini-movies, and unique panel processes to engage the
attendees in the conversation. Breaks and sessions will be hosted from various locations, for
example a yoga break at Elizabeth Quay or a live band playing at the Rechabite. This provides
attendees with new perspectives, a short escape outside their home, and pays creatives and
facilitators for producing the content.
Tickets are $45 + GST + booking fees and Town Team Members will be able to attend for free. Purchase tickets on Humanitix: https://events.humanitix.com/shift-digiconference
Tickets can also be purchased via tax invoice. Please email a request and a purchase order number to [email protected] (there are no booking fees to pay via invoice)
